Happy Holidays 2017!

Hello everyone, it’s R.S. Noel here with another post; and I hope you’re all having a very good holiday season (and an almost happy new year)! Today will be a bit of a small post; yet it certainly holds a lot of emphasis on the future of my content :)!

So as you may (or may not) know, I have a YouTube channel ( which is currently inactive, but if you want to check it out now – here it is 🙂 ). I’ve had it for a long time now; and it has accrued a lot of subscribers over the years. I used to do videos about joining the U.S. Navy, (even though I never did get it due to severe acne at the time). Even though my skin as cleared up, I don’t think I’ll ever join the Navy. I also used to have videos on me playing some video games as well.

At any rate, what I’m going to do when I start up my YouTube channel once the New Year kicks into gear; is make all of my current videos private, and start fresh with new content.

My new content will be 2-fold.

The first layer of the new content on my channel will feature complications of funny videos that can brighten your day up if you’re ever in a grind or pickle. Some of the funniest videos on YouTube (or any video platform for that matter) have certainly made my day whenever I experienced a relatively crummy day.

The second layer of my new content, will be a bit more personal.

For the longest time, I’ve wanted to start a series on reviewing shows, movies, music, and video games. To make reviews that are between 5-7 minutes long, but pack those videos full of necessary (spoiler-free) content from said shows, movies, music, and video games. I just got my lighting equipment in and also got a tripod for my camcorder. There have been countless times where I wanted to share my thoughts on a series, or even just to hear what other people have to say; and that’s when I realized I should do this on my YouTube channel. Unfortunately, there are so many biased (paid-for) reviews on different forms of entertainment; that the integrity and many different truths of such a forms of entertainment are incredibly distorted into something they really aren’t. So the inspiration behind this series-to-come is driven by my passion for truth in all of its forms. I want to be fair in my analyses, and also still maintain a very honest critique on such forms of entertainment.

So for now, I need to find some time to finish filming and editing my first couple of videos and have at least 2-3 videos ready for the second week of January.

Now that I’ve explained that portion of my content, I’ll be talking about my posts here on my website/blog!

I’ll continue to upload at least 2-3 posts a week since I also start the next semester on January 8th. I’ll likely shift the tone of my posts to slightly more “relevant” to the the current environment of America, the different realities in many parts of the developing world, and also about new stories related to huge corporations on the global stage (including the U.S.). Being that I’m a Business/Accounting Major, my favorite pastime to do while having some down time, is to discover what Fortune 500 companies are doing in terms of not only productivity – but more importantly, on human rights and how they are adapting their own policies to implement a slightly fairer environment for the communities of people they affect. Needless to say, 2018 will be a very interesting and news-impacted year. I have a gut-feeling that a lot of things will be changing next year, and I want to be able to record all I can while I’m young.

With that said, I truly wish all of you are having a Happy Holiday (and a Merry Christmas for those of us who celebrate Christmas)! Thank you again for all the support some of you have given me, it means a lot to me that we can create a small community here online and share our thoughts freely. Cheers, to a better year!

Forever in Your Debt,

R.S. Noel

    1. Hi Juliehcares! I edit my videos using iMovie :)! It’s been through a few changes over the last couple of years; but I still find it very accessible and easy to use for basic-formatted videos like YouTube videos. Hope that helps your son make videos, it’s a great side-gig to pursue during some downtime :)!
