I’ll be making this entry short tonight. Hi everyone, it’s me R.S. Noel coming to you with another post!
Today, I finished with all of my homework for my Stats workload for Chapter 1. Furthermore, I’m starting my Accounting 101 readings for Chapter 1 and 2. It’ll be a bit crazy, and I know I’ll be staying up till about 3:00 a.m.! But it’ll be worth it, because I strangely enough find Accounting very interesting. There’s something stimulating to Accounting that just makes me feel intricately in-tuned with the economic world around me.
Being that I am a very spiritual person, it’s kind of funny to find this side to me hiding deep within my psyche. But in some way, I know I won’t let that change me. I’m essentially already the human being I have grown to be, so being a part of that environment of Accounting and Business won’t have little to no effect on my personal/private life. I will always try to get help the communities I’m a part of, and I want to also help people realize that materialism is toxic and unnecessary.
What matters is you and me. All of us in the world can change our lives if we can keep connected and also be more “real” about ourselves. I’m shocked at how fake this world can be at times, and I’ve always wondered why people need to compensate their lives with “things/stuff”. It just doesn’t make since. It’s like we’re running away from the reality of our lives. What makes it even more concerning is the fact that people are willingly blinded to the fact that we can actually change the world if we just begin to work together in even the smallest ways.
I’ve always thought about how strange and outlandish the world has been. It’s never been “normal”, because “normal” is whatever is socially accepted during different time periods in history. But one of the most basic aspects of humans, is the fact that we can be compassionate. We are born with this trait in us. And I have come to the conclusion that even the wealthiest 1 percent of the world are not naturally evil. They’ve just given up on trying to change the world. Because let’s face it, humans cannot be controlled; we are all our own beings.
So the conundrums of life often times get the better of us. But how I look at it is this way: I believe it’s better to just try your best to understand other people’s differences and also make an adventure out of your own life in some way.
Anyways, I’m going to end this post now. It’s time I continue doing my homework and studying! Thank you for reading today’s post, and I’ll be back tomorrow :)!
